Tata Tigor Diesel Recalled Over Emission Issues



Tata Motors has voluntarily announced a recall campaign for the Tigor particularly the diesel variants to rectify potential emission problems. 
The affected cars manufactured from March 6, 2017, and December 1, 2017, and bear chassis no. Between MAT629401GKP52721 to MAT629401HKN89616.
Dealers soon will contact the car owners of the affected vehicle to rectify the issues at the nearest authorised car service centre. Customers can contact this toll-free no. 1800 209 7979 and can get their appointment for this service.
A 1.05-litre 3-cylinder diesel engine powers the Tata Tigor, which produces 69 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque @ 1,800-3,000 rpm mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. According to Tata Motors, the issue is not related to the safety of the vehicle and shouldn't be a cause for concern.
